Joe Jean
“I'm very passionate about helping children and families.”
Like many Auctor employees, Joe has dedicated much of his career (more than 30 years!) to working within the IV-D program. Joe has both a dedication to and appreciation of IV-D’s business needs and intricacies, but just as much to children and families.
In some ways, Joe is a relative newcomer to Auctor: he worked for Auctor and then moved to an assistant deputy role for a child support organization, and now he has returned to Auctor. (He is pleased to note that the client he worked for years ago is still with Auctor.)
Joe brings expertise in IV-D program policy, administration, and related child support system functions, plus experience with meeting IV-D federal certification requirements. He’s also managed many IV-D training projects. The variety of projects he’s handled at multiple level means he’s also developed strong leadership and diplomatic skills.
It hasn’t taken long for newer coworkers to appreciate Joe’s expertise and professionalism as well as his sense of humor and fun. “That's key to being happy,” he says.
In his spare time, Joe can be found working out or watching old classic movies.
