Dave Yaraschefski
“Helping others be successful is what drives me - if we work together, your success is my success!"
After beginning his career as an engineer in product development, Dave fell in love with process design and improvement, which ultimately led him to transitioning into Project Management.
Dave developed his project management skills while leading high-dollar technology projects in the biomedical and material handling industries, where he learned the importance of “servant leadership” and collaboration. Dave joined Auctor in 2013, and built a successful and strategic PMO in his first role with Auctor as the Director of the PMO. In subsequent years, his role expanded to include both the operations and the business development side of the house. Dave attributes his success to his a roll-up-your-sleeves leadership style. “I would never ask my team to do something that I’m not willing to do myself,” he says. His team appreciates his amenable approach--and the way he celebrates success.
A graduate of Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, Dave also earned an M.B.A. in Organizational Leadership from Butler University and holds a PMP Certification from the Project Management Institute. He is also a Certified Scrum Master and Certified Scrum Product Owner through the Scrum Alliance.
As a former Division 3 college basketball player, Dave’s a huge college basketball fan. When he’s not trying to keep up with his busy kids, he coaches high school basketball and is a volunteer video director for his church.
“At the end of the day,” Dave emphasizes, “the way you treat people is far more important than anything else.”
